Revitalising Berridge Park

Berridge Park is getting a new nature-based playground, skatepark and recreation precinct, including enhanced accessibility features, with work beginning in the second half of 2026. Here's a sneak peak at the concept plan...

This concept is currently being turned into a detailed design, which we'll be able to share with our community in the coming months before construction begins in the second half of 2026. You can get the detailed design sent straight to your inbox, along with any other project updates, if you subscribe to follow this project at the link below.

Important things to know:

  • The footprint of the new work will overlay the existing old playground, toilets, gravel basketball courts and gravel carpark
  • The peace and serenity of the park under the mature oaks will remain largely unchanged
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our team at info@denmark.wa.gov.au or report an issue online

This project is fully funded!

Thanks to a Lotterywest grant of $2,857,500, a grant of $2,197,666 through the Commonwealth’s Growing Regions Program and a further $697,666 through the WA Government’s PlayOn WA initiative.

Next Steps...

We are working through the detailed design phase, ensuring community feedback received during our consultation period is fully incorporated. We soon expect to receive ‘ready-to-construct’ plans, and then we'll get to work on construction in the second half of 2026.

Berridge Park Redevelopment Updates:

We will continue to share updates with our community as soon as we have any!
