All community members aged 13 and over are invited to submit their favourite photo taken in the Denmark district with the chance to win one of five prizes! Photography submitted to the competition must be the original work of the entrant.
The best entries may be featured in the Shire of Denmark Strategic Community Plan 2033.
We are gathering information to help set our community's future direction in the Shire of Denmark's updated Strategic Community Plan. Please take two minutes to contribute your thoughts.

Community members joined Councillors and staff on the Working Group to guide the engagement process for the Strategic Community Plan review.

Independent company Catalyse distributed a Community Scorecard directly to a randomised selection of our community.
Stage 2: Mini-Questionnaire (NOV 2022 - MAR 2023)

With questions informed by the Community Scorecard, keep an eye out at community events for mini-questionnaires which will help us to understand community priorities.

Stage 3: Staff, Council, Working Groups and Committees (NOV 2022 - MAR 2023)

Feedback from those who reference the Strategic Community Plan on a regular basis will be gathered on its functionality and format.
Stage 4: Kids Drawing Competition (MARCH 2023)

Local children aged 12 and under invited to draw or paint their vision for the future of our community. Denmark Dollars prizes up for grabs! Download the competition entry form.
Entries close 4pm Friday 31 March.
Stage 5: Photo Competition (MARCH 2023)

Community members aged 13 and over are invited to submit their favourite original photograph, taken anywhere in the Shire of Denmark. Submissions must be entered digitally here.
Closes 4pm Friday 7 April 2023.
Stage 6: Community Workshops (MARCH 2023)
Strategic Community Plan Major Review 2022/2023 is currently at this stage
Two community workshops will be held to ensure community aspirations and priorities are captured in the review.
Workshop 1: 5.30pm on Tuesday 28 March 2023 at Shire of Denmark Administration Building Reception Room
Workshop 2: 9.30am on Thursday 30 March 2023 at Nornalup Hall

Create your own community workshop by downloading and completing our DIY Engagement Kit with your friends, family, colleagues or community group. Completed submissions must be returned to the Shire of Denmark by 4pm Friday 28 April 2023.
Public Comment Period (APRIL & MAY 2023)
