- Rezoning No. 2446 (Lot 3) South Coast Highway, William Bay, from ‘Rural’ to ‘Tourist (T14)’ zone.
- Inserting Tourist (T14) and associated provisions into Appendix XIII – Schedule of Tourist Zones of the Scheme Text to guide future development of the site.

Introduce the following land use definitions into Appendix I – Interpretations - of the Scheme Text:
- Agritourism – means visiting a farm or rural food related business for enjoyment and education or to participate in activities or events.
- Workforce Accommodation – means premises, which may include modular or relocatable buildings, used –
- Primarily for the accommodation of workers engaged in construction, resource, agricultural or other industries on a temporary basis; and
- For any associated catering, sporting and recreation facilities for the occupants and authorised visitors.
The proposed zoning provides for the development of a range of tourism land uses that may potentially include Aquaculture, Agritourism, Caravan Park, Caretaker's Dwelling, Horticulture, Microbrewery, Outbuilding, Private Recreation, Restaurant, Rural Pursuit, Shop (max. 150m2), Single House and Workforce Accommodation.

The Shire has been instructed by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage to re-advertise the Amendment for 60 days. There have been no changes to the Amendment document.
The Shire of Denmark has prepared a Scheme Amendment for the purpose of (in summary):
- Rezoning portion of Lot 9010 Beaufortia Gardens, Hay from the Tourist (T9) Zone to Special Residential (sRes6) Zone;
- Rezoning Lots 193, 194, 195 & 196 Pimelia View, Hay from the Tourist (T9) Zone to the Special Residential (SRes6) Zone;
- Deleting the Tourist Zone (T9) from Appendix XIII;
- Modifying Special Provisions as they apply to the Special Residential (sRes6) Zone under Appendix XIV.
- Rezoning a portion of Lot 9010 from Tourist (T9) Zone to Parks & Recreation Reserve;
- Correcting zoning anomalies as they relate to the boundary of various Special Residential lots, the alignment of Pimelea View and Beaufortia Gardens and adjacent crown reserves.
This proposal is open for public comment until 8 May 2023.
